Delivering Excellence
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to our customers across Richmond Delivery Office.
About the Role
This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts. You will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, and may be required to work overtime as needed.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £14.87, paid monthly, as well as overtime pay at 1.25x the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service, and a contributory pension scheme. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop a career with Royal Mail and enjoy a range of benefits, including full uniform, excellent parental leave policy, and various discounts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do. You will also need to be happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather. A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is also required.
