About the Role

We are seeking an upbeat and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across Richmond Delivery Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
  • Operate a manual driving license and have a strong sense of community

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £14.87p/hr. You will also receive overtime pay, 22.5 days holiday, and a contributory pension scheme. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop a career with Royal Mail and enjoy various discounts and benefits.

Requirements

  • Upbeat, independent, and self-motivated individual
  • Organised, punctual, and ready to deliver great customer service
  • Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
  • Full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points

Working Hours

You will work 30 hours per week, 5 days across Monday to Sunday, with a flexible schedule to meet delivery targets. Please note that your attendance times may change by up to 30 minutes from the end of April 2024, in line with a national project.
