Digital Marketing Manager Job Description

At Wells & Co, we're seeking a talented Digital Marketing Manager to drive our online presence and engagement. As a key member of our Retail Marketing Team, you'll lead the digital focus of our wider marketing strategy, from social media to websites, managing online content, analysing digital marketing reports, managing email campaigns, using analytics to influence activity and making recommendations to best target our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Digital Marketing strategy across all digital channels, including email marketing, social media, and website, to support our Marketing Plan and trading style objectives.
  • Improve the usability, design, and content of our current websites, while supporting the Digital Marketing Executive in influencing SEO strategy and optimisation to improve acquisition and conversion.
  • Activate tactical digital advertising in line with key priorities using Meta and Google Advertising, as well as other digital tools.
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates and reports, focusing on key KPIs and conversion.
  • Manage our CRM strategy through the execution of email marketing plans and the development of the system in line with campaigns and trading styles objectives.
  • Share knowledge with our Pub Partners to improve their digital performance.
  • Develop our social media strategy by providing social media guidance and training for the pubs, including best practice, executing centralised campaign posts, and ensuring site-level marketing tools are used to drive engagement.
  • Work with Sales & Revenue and Guest Experience Manager to develop Hotel Revenue Strategy to drive occupancy and RevPAR.
  • Collaborate with the Content Creator to create digital assets to share with teams across our platforms and drive our digital awareness.
  • Research, develop, and launch a new Loyalty Platform within our business.
  • Research and manage digital advertisement opportunities and explore opportunities to further promote our pubs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest thinking and technologies surrounding digital marketing, to maintain an expert level of understanding and identify trends.
Requirements:
  • Proven digital marketing expertise, with a passion for hospitality and knowledge of pubs and beer.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, Google Ads, and Facebook advertising.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with web and email software, such as Airship and WordPress.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
