About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midweight Video Editor to join our team on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. As a key member of our video team, you will be responsible for editing branded content for online platforms, working to tight deadlines, and building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Editing: Edit to a high standard using Adobe Premiere, working across commercial, social, and marketing projects.
  • Animation and Motion Graphics: Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks at a high level.
  • Support and Guidance: Assist other editors when needed under the direction and guidance of the Senior Video Editors.
  • Shoot Support: Provide ad-hoc shoot support duties, such as DITing.
  • Research and Development: Keep up to date with video trends and feed back in the right forums.
  • Colour Correction and Grading: Colour correct and grade images and videos, conforming to broadcast and social standards and guidelines.
  • Audio Mixing: Sourcing audio tracks and sound mixing edits, creating well-mastered tracks across multiple layers.
  • Brand Guidelines: Ensure all content is produced within brand guidelines and in-keeping with the tone of relevant LADbible Group channels.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher, or brand.
  • Technical Skills: Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Colour Grading: High level of proficiency in colour grading using Adobe Premiere.
  • Sound Mixing: High level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering.
  • Passion and Creativity: Passion for social and branded content, with the ability to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and creativity on a daily basis.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Confident in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
