Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Ardsley House, a specialist care home for adults with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to our residents, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and care to residents with their daily living needs, including personal care and medication management.
  • Assist residents with activities and hobbies, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.

Requirements

  • Reliable, friendly, and caring approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
