Job Title: Sales Director

At Red Diamond Executive Headhunters, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
    • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
    • Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Sales Performance:
    • Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed business decisions.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.
    • Collaborate with product development teams to provide market feedback for the enhancement of existing products and the development of new offerings.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience of selling within the construction/building industry.
  • Demonstrable experience of selling to OEMs and distribution.
  • 10+ years of successful sales leadership experience within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
