Job Description: Audit Assistant Manager

We're proud to have a highly successful Evelyn Partners Audit department, renowned for producing quality, incisive audit work in a collegiate environment. We work closely with dynamic mid-market businesses, offering them continual development opportunities and new experiences.

Your primary responsibilities will include planning, performing, and completing audits for each assignment, ensuring clients receive a high-quality service through effective resource management and liaison with relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with key contacts at the client.
  • Provide an efficient and proactive service, exceeding client expectations.
  • Identify issues and agree resolutions with the client Partner or Director, ensuring they are up-to-date on the job's progress.
  • Maintain awareness of commercial aspects of clients' businesses and their impact on our work.
  • Highlight opportunities for Evelyn Partners apparent from work undertaken.
  • Regularly discuss progress with the client, confirm solutions to any hurdles, and ensure reasonable expectations are met.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA).
  • Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
  • Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegating work.
  • Ability to motivate staff to ensure best performance.
  • Demonstrable ability to organise self and others, allowing work on several assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, directors, staff, and other professionals.
  • Ability to proactively monitor costs against budget for individual clients.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
