Job Title: Financial Manager

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly financial close process, collaborating closely with the Global Accounting Hub and overseeing activities with our outsourced service provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of all statutory reporting requirements, including the completion of audited financial statements.
  • Act as the pivotal liaison with UK and Irish audit teams, fostering strong, effective relationships.
  • Strengthen internal controls and processes through ongoing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and comprehensive documentation reviews.
  • Partner with our tax advisors to manage tax provisions and filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

About the Role:

You will work collaboratively with external stakeholders, such as our external audit team and tax and technical advisors. You will also collaborate closely with the wider Finance team, having real, tangible impact on the business.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Financial Accountant within a multinational business with demonstrated success in an Accounting Manager role, ideally within the Pharmaceutical sector.
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Demonstrated excellence of technical knowledge of accountancy, relevant laws, local taxes, and accounting systems/processes.
  • Excellent oral as well as written English communication.
