About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Support Manager to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to the Health Records Department, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day line management and supervision to the Section Managers
  • Oversee workforce rotas, attendance, HR processes, recruitment, and other relevant tasks
  • Work closely with colleagues, including specialty teams, clinicians, and support services, to develop and implement effective solutions
  • Embed quality improvement methodology within the patient access services
  • Provide cross-cover for Operational Manager colleagues and deputise for the Assistant Directorate Manager

Requirements

  • Good general education, including 4 GCSEs/Level 4 NVQ and/or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continued personal development
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, managerial knowledge, and data protection, IG, and standards for maintaining health records
  • Computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel and hospital IT systems, EMIS
