Senior Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing costs and budgets of construction projects, from early cost advice to settlement of the final account.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage customer relationships (internal and external)
- Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives
- Support Estates in delivering business objectives, value for money, and overseeing governance of estates commercial interests
- Deliver high-quality services and ensure that cost management deliverables meet customers requirements
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- Broad, in-depth cost management experience post-MRICS qualification
- Detailed contract management knowledge (NEC preferred)
- Detailed knowledge and practiced experience of cost estimating and cost planning techniques
