Resident Building Manager

Selfridges is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Building Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our largest store and office complex in London.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the facilities management service lines, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the complex.
- Develop and implement effective supplier management strategies, working with over 25 major suppliers to achieve cost savings of up to £5M per annum.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to deliver projects and meet business objectives.
- Manage Opex and Capex budgets, ensuring commercial awareness and effective financial management.
- Lead regular stakeholder meetings and prepare business cases for senior stakeholders.
- At least five years' experience in facilities management, preferably in a client-direct role.
- Proven track record of managing complex FM environments, with experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-led sectors.
- Strong people management skills, with experience of leading teams and managing stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
- IOSH Managing Safely and/or NEBOSH General Certificate, with a Facilities Management Qualification and/or industry-related education.
