The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Band 4 Hepatology Nursing Associate to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Hepatology Nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a Registered Band 4 Hepatology Nursing Associate to work within our Exeter Hepatology Nursing service. You will be responsible for undertaking fibroscan clinics, testing and treating viral hepatitis C patients, and working collaboratively with the Hepatology Nursing team to deliver an effective and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake fibroscan clinics and testing and treating of viral hepatitis C patients
- Work collaboratively with the Hepatology Nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the development of our services and the improvement of patient outcomes
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a liver disease specialty
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
