Domestic Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our cleaning and support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks in clinical and non-clinical areas, including patient rooms, toilets, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
- Work from a daily/weekly schedule, ensuring that the hospital is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve cleaning and support goals.
- Participate in deep-cleaning operations and special projects as needed.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a cleaning or support role.
- Ability to read simple data and apply basic calculations.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of COSHH and infection control procedures.
- Desirable: NVQ Level 1 in cleaning or willingness to obtain.
