Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer – Associate Practitioner Medical Physics to join our team. As a Clinical Engineer, you will be responsible for the management of medical equipment, ensuring that it is fully functional and accurate for the safe diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full life-cycle of medical equipment, including commissioning, calibration, performance assurance, and repair.
- Work as part of a team of clinical engineer technologists to ensure that medical equipment is fully functional and accurate.
- Provide competency-based training on a range of low-risk and non-complex medical equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that medical equipment is used safely and effectively.
- Engineering or Technology knowledge to SCQF Level 8.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and general engineering principles.
- Experience of the service, repair, and fault finding of electronic or electrical systems.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
