About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Paignton Health and Well-being Team as an Assistant Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to housebound patients in Paignton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to housebound patients, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in partnership with primary care and secondary care.
  • Support the development of less experienced staff and contribute to service development.
  • Work effectively as a team player, using initiative while understanding the limits of scope.

Requirements

  • Foundation Degree in Healthcare Practice (Nursing Associate) or equivalent.
  • Trust induction training and intermediate IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a delegated caseload, use initiative while understanding limits of scope.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision, and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
