Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of electrical equipment in our manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical equipment according to safety guidelines and electrical code requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment malfunctions to identify and resolve electrical problems effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical chargehand and other team members to implement effective electrical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work completed, including work orders, inspections, and maintenance records.
  • Maintain records of Hazardous area schedule, cable test sheets, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

Requirements

  • A High School diploma, HNC or above (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds accredited training course (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in electrical assembly, installation, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of testing and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with wireline winches, masts, and associated products.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
