At NOV Inc, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our Electrical workshop team. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of electrical equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and test electrical equipment according to safety guidelines and electrical code requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment malfunctions to identify and resolve electrical problems effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical chargehand and other team members to implement effective electrical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work completed, including work orders, inspections, and maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • A High School diploma, HNC or above (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds accredited training course (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in electrical assembly, installation, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of testing and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with wireline winches, masts, and associated products.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
