We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer Technician to join our team at Everpool. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for preparing and producing accurate structural drawings and supporting the production of 3D models and BIM processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce accurate structural drawings (plans, sections, details) in accordance with design specifications.
  • Support the production of 3D models and BIM processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers to interpret structural analysis and provide design solutions for various building structures.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure structural designs integrate seamlessly with the overall project.
  • Conduct site visits to review structural elements on-site, assess progress, and identify any potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all design calculations, specifications, and reports.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Structural Technician or equivalent.
  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM software.
  • A good understanding of current UK structural design codes and building regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Salary:

£30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
