Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of power products on customer sites
  • Installation of temperature control products on customer sites
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of power products on customer sites
  • Commissioning of temperature control products on customer sites
  • Fitting data loggers and power analysers
  • Attending equipment breakdowns
Electrical Expertise:
  • Delivering generator applications, including motor starting and variable voltage
  • Carrying out load testing using Sigma PC software
  • Delivering no-break sync applications, including grid lock
  • Telemetry installation in the field
  • Basic electrical fault finding up to 1500V DC and 1000V AC
  • Operating fleet load banks
  • Low-voltage switching, maintenance, isolation, and commissioning
  • Delivering TC/MC applications

The duties outlined above are the primary focus of the role, but you may be required to perform other reasonable duties within your abilities to support the business.

Requirements:

  • Technical capability in power and temperature control
  • A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent in mechanical and electrical fields
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Good PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications
  • Ability to maintain a vehicle to GSCS standards
  • Excellent client management skills under pressure
  • Full, clean, and valid driving licence
  • Ability to work out of hours and be part of the on-call rota

Salary range: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
