Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance function, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day financial tasks.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for producing customer statements of accounts, maintaining customer ledger accounts correctly, and performing various financial tasks such as advancing payment re-classifications, processing incoming invoices, and setting up bank payments.

You will also be involved in debt collection and dunning, performing credit control, preparing group reporting of trade receivables, and assisting with audits for accounts receivable. If you have a methodical and tidy approach to work, flexible, and able to manage and prioritize workload, this could be the ideal role for you.

About the Role:
  • Salary: £23,000 per annum
  • Location: Loughborough
  • Work Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:30 to 16:30 and Friday 08:30 to 16:00

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as within a small team. Experience and financial qualifications would be an advantage, but not essential. We offer a free car parking, 28 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays), and BUPA healthcare after the probationary period.
