Infant Care Specialist

Banana Moon Day Nurseries offers a competitive salary of £28,000-£35,000 per annum for an experienced Infant Care Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Baby Room, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged 3-24 months.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, with experience working with babies. They will also possess strong knowledge of child development in the early years, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Baby Room, ensuring the highest quality of care and attention for infants.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support babies' development.
- Provide personal care, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines.
- Build strong relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication and providing regular updates on their child's progress.
- Supervise and support the development of room staff, providing guidance and training.
- Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Experience working with babies aged 0-24 months.
- Strong knowledge of child development in the early years.
