Adults Social Worker – Colchester Neighbourhood Team

As a key member of our Colchester North/South Neighbourhood Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality social care services to individuals and their families in the Colchester area.
Working closely with our team of experienced social workers, you will be responsible for assessing social care needs, undertaking safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments, and developing support plans for those individuals assessed as having eligible social care needs.
You will be accountable for practicing within the statutory legal frameworks, policy, and practice guidance, and for working collaboratively with internal and external partners, stakeholders, and the voluntary sector.

About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced social worker who is passionate about delivering high-quality social care services and making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and their families.
You will have a degree in social work, current registration with Social Work England, and post-qualifying experience in adult social care.
You will also have a strong commitment to social justice, self-awareness, and the ability to engage honestly and clearly with individuals, as well as courage to have difficult conversations.
