Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Business Management Educator to join our team at Aberdeenshire Council. As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to assigned pupils and contributing to the professional life of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality education to assigned pupils, ensuring they meet their full potential and achieve academic excellence.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a culture of respect and collaboration among pupils, staff, and external partners.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, ensuring that all pupils receive a comprehensive and engaging education.
  • Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions to support pupil achievement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices in education and contributing to the continuous improvement of our educational services.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid teaching qualification and be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
  • Have a strong understanding of business management principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaborative working.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
