AMHP (Approved Mental Health Practitioner) Role

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced AMHP (Approved Mental Health Practitioner) to join our team in the London Borough of Lambeth. As an AMHP, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults with mental health issues, working closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing care management and support to adults with mental health issues
  • Conducting assessments and writing reports to inform care plans
  • Managing a caseload of service users and providing regular updates
  • Liaising with other professional bodies, including the Mental Health Act
  • Safeguarding adults and promoting their well-being
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
  • Post-qualifying experience working as an AMHP in the UK Social Care industry
  • HCPC Registration
  • 1 year post-qualifying experience in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain this for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
