We are currently seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Emergency Duty Team as a Casual AMHP. This role will provide coverage for annual leave, training, or unexpected absences within the service.

The Emergency Duty Team (EDT) operates out of hours, providing an emergency social work service hosted by Central Bedfordshire Council. We serve Bedford Borough Council and Luton Borough Council, responding to emergency social care and Mental Health Act Assessments that cannot be left until the next working day.

As a Casual AMHP, you will be responsible for undertaking Mental Health Act Assessments out of hours, ensuring the immediate protection and safeguarding of children, young people, and adults at risk of harm. You will work within the relevant legislative framework, prioritizing the well-being of our residents.

This role offers a retain rate for the shift, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking flexibility in their work schedule. As a member of our team, you will contribute to our goal of creating a 'great place to live and work' in Central Bedfordshire.

To succeed in this role, you must have access to your own transport, enabling you to respond effectively to emergencies across the region.

Salary Information:
