The Kent County Council is seeking a Wellbeing Support Officer to join our Education Programme team. As a Wellbeing Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing one-to-one support to children and young people in various locations across Kent.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, relevant, and wellbeing-focused activities with pupils within an agreed individualized programme.
- Plan and deliver sessions as part of an education package to children and young people in a variety of localities throughout Kent.
- Support children with emotional and behavioral difficulties, enabling them to understand and regulate their behaviors and emotions, building resilience and self-confidence.
- Communicate clearly and successfully both verbally and on written records and reports.
- Manage challenging situations and maintain a positive attitude and a fresh beginning brimming with new opportunities for allocated pupils.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage challenging situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and successfully both verbally and on written records and reports.
- Personal resilience to start each new day with a positive attitude and a fresh beginning.
- Full UK Driving Licence (or ability to drive due to a disability).
