Job Title: Education Programme Wellbeing Support Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Wellbeing Support Officer to join our Education Programme team. As a Wellbeing Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, enabling them to understand and regulate their behaviours and emotions, build resilience and self-confidence, and access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver personalised, relevant, and wellbeing-focused activities with pupils within an agreed individualised programme.
  • Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, enabling them to understand and regulate their behaviours and emotions.
  • Build resilience and self-confidence in children and young people, and support them with a toolkit of strategies to access the curriculum.
  • Communicate clearly and successfully with children, young people, and colleagues, both verbally and in written records and reports.
  • Manage challenging situations and maintain a positive attitude and a fresh beginning each day.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage challenging situations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and successfully both verbally and in written records and reports.
  • Personal resilience to start each new day with a positive attitude and a fresh beginning.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (or ability to drive with a disability).
