About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a child with undiagnosed ASD in a primary setting. The ideal candidate will have a caring and approachable nature, with the ability to build a strong bond with the child and support their educational development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist support to a child with undiagnosed ASD
  • Assist with the child's educational development
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistency and continuity of care
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting
  • Good oral, written and numeracy skills
  • Ability to enthuse and inspire children
  • Commitment to improving outcomes for all children
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
