Eden Scott is a recruitment agency delighted to be working with our client in Edinburgh.

We are seeking a Financial Performance and Projects Manager for a full-time, permanent position. If you prefer compressed hours, the client is open to discussing this.

The successful candidate will drive business performance by supporting all budget holders with financial information to manage and improve their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Holding regular meetings with budget holders to ensure they understand provided information and necessary actions to improve performance and review forecasts.
  2. Collaborating with colleagues to provide financial assistance to managers creating investment plans.
  3. Preparing month-end accounts, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, internal transfers, and reviewing and approving journals across the team.
  4. Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) or affiliate/close to being qualified.
  5. At least three years of experience in a similar role, with experience in planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  6. Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
