Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team at Infoplus Technologies UK Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated tests to validate the functionality and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand project requirements and identify testing needs.
  2. Review functional test cases for automatability and collaborate with functional script owners to understand the functionality and details required for automation.
  3. Enable and advocate for improved testability of systems under test.
  4. Design and develop automated tests using Playwright, Typescript, or Cypress.
  5. Execute automated tests to validate functionality and performance.
  6. Troubleshoot and debug test failures.
  7. Contribute to the development of testing best practices and processes.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in QA with a minimum of 3+ years in automation testing.
  • Strong experience in automation analysis, building reliable locators, and applying locator strategies.
  • Strong understanding of automation infrastructure and setting up automation runs in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with source code repositories like GIT.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
