FryerMiles Recruitment Careers is delighted to partner with a leading not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Financial Management Specialist on a permanent basis.

As a key member of the Finance team, you will work closely with the Head of Finance to provide accurate and timely financial data to inform effective decision-making.

The successful candidate will have advanced Excel skills and be qualified or part-qualified in accounting. They will assist with the annual budgeting process, review data, and produce budget schedules for Committee and Trust Board approval.

You will support others to manage budgets, find cost-saving solutions, and lead a cost-conscious culture to ensure sustainability for the future. Additionally, you will ensure that financial processes such as Gift Aid, VAT returns, and other actions are managed appropriately.

Responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely management accounts and supporting information each month, working closely with the Executive Team and Head of Finance to ensure financial accountability, and deputising for the Head of Finance as required.

Candidate requirements include advanced Excel skills, qualified or part-qualified in accounting, and the ability to carry out project work as directed by the Head of Finance.
