Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized Procurement Specialist to join our team at Employment Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a range of purchasing and procurement activities, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing for projects.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and a collaborative approach to ensure optimal supply chain performance. Familiarity with systems like Sage 200 and a background in supplier negotiations are desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to prioritize competing demands. An excellent communicator, you will be comfortable collaborating across departments and liaising with external suppliers to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize Sage 200 to place and track orders, ensuring accurate and timely procurement processes.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives by sourcing competitive quotes and selecting the most suitable suppliers.
- Keep Project Leads informed of any delays or lead-time issues, ensuring clear communication on order statuses.
- Collaborate with the Project Team and Operations Manager to align on order progress and address potential issues.
