Job Summary: As a key member of our team, you'll work collaboratively with Project Leads and Operations Manager to align on order progress. Your responsibilities will include utilising Sage 200 to place and track orders, implementing cost-saving initiatives by sourcing competitive quotes and selecting suitable suppliers, and processing spares orders and purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sage 200 Utilisation: Place and track orders effectively using Sage 200 software.
  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Source competitive quotes and select suitable suppliers to implement cost-saving measures.
  • Order Progress Alignment: Collaborate with Project Team and Operations Manager to ensure alignment on order progress.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Process spares orders and purchase orders, handling delivery logistics and packaging.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: We're looking for individuals with proven experience as a Buyer (preferably an Engineering Buyer).
  • SAGE 200 Advantage: Experience using SAGE 200 is highly advantageous.
  • Negotiation and Supplier Management: Strong negotiation and supplier management skills are essential.
