The primary school we are working with is a lovely setting with a strong focus on providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment. They are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • Providing general classroom support and 1:1 work with students in the Key stage 1 classroom
  • Assisting the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students
  • Collaborating with the lead teacher to create and modify lesson plans to meet individual student needs
  • Helping students develop social skills and promoting positive behaviour in the classroom
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing tutoring and mentoring to students who require additional academic support
  • Supporting the lead teacher in assessing student progress and documenting observations

Working Conditions:

This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
