About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our distribution centre, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • To establish and maintain effective warehouse processes and procedures.
  • To manage the warehouse team and ensure they have the necessary training and support to carry out their roles effectively.
  • To work closely with the Logistics/Purchasing Team to ensure that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers.
  • To supervise inventory and stock audits and implement necessary adjustments.
  • To address any issues or concerns that arise in the warehouse.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience at managerial level within a warehouse environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Desirable: Proficient in materials handling, including heavy lifting and reach/forklift experience.
  • Desirable: Hold a recognised Health & Safety qualification/certification e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays).
