Colbern Limited is seeking an experienced Financial Professional to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Financial Professional to provide financial support and processing services to our clients. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver an effective, efficient, and customer-focused service within required KPIs, PI, and activity timescales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial support and processing services to various clients in a flexible manner.
  • Work as part of a team using an adult care case management system for service users requiring direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential, and non-residential assessments.
  • Ensure that advice is interpreted and managed within local policies and national guidance to direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential, and non-residential assessments.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively to extract data to support service user complaints/requests.
  • Effectively communicate with outside bodies, such as legal service organizations.
  • Deal with routine correspondence and telephone enquiries of a personal and confidential nature pertaining to service users' financial details and payments to service providers.
  • Deal with daily incoming and outgoing post for the direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential, and non-residential assessments teams within agreed timescales and deadlines.
  • Work together with colleagues to review and update procedures to improve quality and consistency.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Lincolnshire County Council staff, providers of services, service users, and other professionals.
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
