**Job Overview:**

WhereToTalk is seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide early intervention services for students. As an experienced practitioner, you will work 0.6 FTE, providing same-day individual support and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will be able to offer early assessment/intervention with those at risk, confident in passing students on to more appropriate services when necessary.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £36,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on the UK's national average salary for a Counsellor in Scotland.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide same-day early intervention counselling provision, including risk assessment interventions and referrals to other services as needed.
  • Offer single session assessments/interventions and reviews with students presenting to the Disability and Wellbeing Service.

**Working Pattern:**

This role will require working 0.6 FTE, specifically Wednesday (12 noon to 8pm), Thursday, and Friday (9am to 5pm).
