At BMW Group, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to lead our Bespoke Purchasing team. This role requires a strong commercial and team leadership background, with a passion for the luxury Automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commodity strategies to support long-term product planning requirements.
  • Manage and develop a unique bespoke supplier base, ensuring suppliers meet RRMC's cost, logistics, and quality requirements.
  • Lead a team of Buyers & Quality Engineers to deliver purchasing targets for timely supplier nomination and purchase order placement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering colleagues and cross-functionally with Product owners, Business steerers, Manufacturing, and Design to deliver complex projects and future strategy fulfillment.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or similar.
  • Proven professional experience in Automotive purchasing or supply chain quality.
  • Significant team leadership experience.
  • Good working knowledge of legal frameworks and contracts.
  • Strong awareness of Business and Automotive accreditations, including ISO 9001, TS/16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes, suitable for low-volume manufacturing and high-quality provision.
