We are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at I Need Staff Today Limited. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for remanufacturing and testing various types of engines and ancillaries.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the overall condition of products/machinery and disassemble units following client instructions.
- Ensure all MoD work follows MoD requirements, including Strip & Survey Reports and component traceability.
- Evaluate individual components for fitness for purpose and commercial viability.
- Complete Job Cards with additional Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements.
- Reassemble products according to manufacturer instructions and test to manufacture specification.
- Report any faults to the Workshop Supervisor for further action.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new tasks.
- Good attitude towards work and the aims and objectives of the company.
08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
