Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Specialist Surgery Directorate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of patient access targets and improving data quality within the directorate and clinical business units.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with services to identify and improve processes to improve data quality and reduce RTT and data validation work each month.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service PTL and work with Service Manager and Deputy Operational Services Manager to ensure that the patient pathway is managed in accordance with the Trust Elective Access Policy.
  • Take the lead on new access and booking initiatives within the Directorate and work with services and staff to develop action plans and implementation plans.
  • Act as the service expert in relation to the Trust Elective Access policy and the creation and delivery of efficient and effective processes for the administration pathway for patient care.
