Job Description

Procurement Manager | Central London/ Hybrid Working home based (x2 days in office, x3 working from home) Up to £62,387 per annum + benefits. 35 hour work week.

Overview:

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Procurement role with variety This well recognised housing association brand are growing their Procurement team and looking for a Procurement Manager to work across a variety of spend. Generalist procurement experience and PCR 15 experience is crucial to this role.

What the role involves:

  • Deliver the procurement programme through an effective business partnering approach.
  • Manage procurement projects in compliance with agreed policies, procedures and the contracts register.
  • Report to the Senior Procurement Manager on all aspects of business activities within the relevant Procurement remit, including advising of new and innovative changes to the supply markets.
  • Manage the commercial negotiation with suppliers and deliver contract management support.
  • Manage strategic relationships with supplier, identify opportunities and improvements to contract lifecycle.
  • Ensure that contracts are delivered in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements i.e. Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR's).

The person we hope to find:

  • End to end procurement experience
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and stakeholders
  • Experience of Public Contract Regulations and training for the new procurement act is needed for this position.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritise quickly
  • Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage work with minimal supervision
  • Commercially aware and financially astute
