**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and manage a team of journalists and producers to deliver high-quality news content
  • Develop and implement news strategies to meet the needs of our listeners
  • Work closely with our Senior Journalists and Head of Programming to ensure that our news content is aligned with our company's goals and objectives
  • Have a clear understanding of the requirements for hourly bulletins received by radio stations and ensure that our content meets these needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our business partners to ensure that our news content is relevant and engaging
  • Be able to demonstrate a clear plan to lead and develop our newsroom team

**Requirements**

  • At least five years of experience in a radio newsroom
  • Fantastic people skills and the ability to lead a team
  • Great decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A clear understanding of the role and the ability to work flexible hours
