About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Trainee Dispenser to join our team. As a Trainee Dispenser, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and services within our stores.

The hourly rate for this position is competitive, ranging from £12.00 to £13.15 across selected locations within London. After six months in the role, the hourly rate will increase.

Responsibilities
  • Learning how to tailor conversations with customers to ensure they feel informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  • Working towards delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary while ensuring the safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  • Complying with legal and professional requirements, as well as accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.
  • Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
  • Contributing to efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be prepared to work towards an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services once you start in the position.

You will have a genuine passion for customer care and be able to build excellent relationships with patients and your team. You should also be able to understand individual patient needs and tailor your support and advice appropriately.

A key aspect of this role is providing healthy lifestyle advice and health services to patients across multiple store locations, utilizing great conversations and delivering technical aspects of supplying medicines.
