Dining Experience Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Chef to join our team at Freelands Croft Care Home in Church Crookham, Fleet. As a key member of our Kitchen Team, you will play a vital role in creating and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for using your passion for cooking and fresh ingredients to create varied and nutritional menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Your creativity and ideas will help us deliver an excellent dining experience, making our residents feel at home.
In this role, you will train and manage the kitchen team in prepping, cooking, and serving food, ensuring high standards are met. You will adhere to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies, and procedures, while managing orders and deliveries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents
- Train and supervise the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering and inventory control
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Cater for special events and seasonal activities, such as summer fetes and Christmas parties
We offer a competitive salary of up to £14.10 per hour, depending on experience, plus a £1000 welcome bonus*. You will work 38 hours per week, with shift times from 7am to 5:30pm, over 4 days a week, including alternate weekends.
