About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Risk Manager to join our team at pawaTech Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a programme to identify and prevent internal payment fraud and risk.
  • Focus on process improvement and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits of standard operating procedures, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
  • Work with legal, compliance, and other teams to ensure a coordinated approach to managing financial crime risk.
  • Review and ensure the adequacy of KYC documentation and independence in decision-making.
  • Support the development of best practices within the Group finance team to enhance governance and manage risk.
  • Facilitate the periodic review and development of Group finance process documentation and financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial crime investigation, forensic accounting, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of best practice accounting controls and processes.
  • Preferable experience with Xero accounting software and automation tools for data analysis.
  • Ability to speak and read French is desirable.
