Job Title: Apprentice Technical Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprentice Technical Trainer to join our team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on technical training to our associates at the Banbury Plant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, with experience in training, coaching, and assessment methodologies. You will be responsible for planning and organizing both internal and external training requirements, and will work closely with our Continuous Improvement Manager and Human Resources Business Partner to ensure competency management system development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on, one-to-one or group training to a best-in-class standard
  • Develop and implement competency management plans to ensure effective, fit-for-purpose, and cost-effective training solutions
  • Work closely with external training providers to ensure value-added services and service levels are achieved
  • Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators related to competence management
  • Support flexibility within the manufacturing areas by leveraging the development of associates to successfully operate multiple machines

Requirements:

  • Relevant training or instructor qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Continuous improvement methodology understanding
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG
  • Experience in training, coaching, and assessment methodologies
  • Excellent planning skills with the ability to ruthlessly prioritize
  • Dynamic self-starter with excellent communication skills for all levels of the organization
