We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Kitchen Planner to join our team at Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby in Christchurch City, Canterbury. As a key member of our Trade Department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing innovative solutions for our trade customers' new or renovated kitchen projects.

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a Monday to Friday work schedule within a dynamic and energetic team. You will report to the Trade General Manager and work closely with other team members to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist trade customers with their new or renovated kitchen projects, using your flair to present the right solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers to understand their requirements and preferences.
  • Prepare quotations and design concepts for kitchen projects, utilizing your skills in CAD design and computer-aided planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services to ensure you can offer expert advice to customers.

Your Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in kitchen design and planning, preferably in a trade environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A passion for customer service and excellence, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all designs and quotes are accurate and complete.
