As a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship trainee at Mitchells & Butlers, you will learn the skills to become a vital team member in any kitchen. Our comprehensive training program includes a mixture of face-to-face and remote sessions, on-the-job training, workshops, and webinars.
About the Role:
- You will work towards a full-time role in the kitchen under the supervision of passionate chefs alongside your training.
- As a 15-month apprenticeship, you will gain hands-on experience in cooking to spec, working with recipes, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
- A key aspect of this role is to master our menu, ensuring quality never slips for our guests.
Your Development:
- You will have regular reviews with the Apprentice, Line Manager, and Lifetime Trainer to discuss progress and set goals.
- Feedback sessions will help you stay on track and address any challenges you may face.

Salary:
£8.60 per hour (16-20 year olds), £11.44 per hour (21+ year olds).
