About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our Property Damage team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling high value defendant property damage claims on behalf of a number of insurers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property damage law, with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience. You will have excellent advocacy and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and manage a varied caseload.

As a Senior Solicitor, you will be responsible for conducting training sessions and workshops for insurer clients, as well as providing supervision to junior members of the team. You will also have the opportunity to work on a case load of high value coverage cases, fraud claims, subsidence claims, and high value subrogated recoveries work.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work well as part of a team, but also has the ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle high value defendant property damage claims on behalf of a number of insurers
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for insurer clients
  • Provide supervision to junior members of the team
  • Work on a case load of high value coverage cases, fraud claims, subsidence claims, and high value subrogated recoveries work
  • Conduct advocacy and mediations
  • Negotiate and handle trials
