Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented lawyer to join our Property Damage team as a Senior Associate Solicitor.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor / CILEx with experience of high value defendant property damage claims on behalf of insurers. You will have the opportunity to work on a case load of high value coverage cases, fraud claims and some subrogated recoveries work. You will be conducting advocacy and mediations and handling negotiations and trials.

As part of the role, you will also be responsible for conducting training sessions and workshops for insurer clients on a regular basis and providing supervision to junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high value defendant property damage claims on behalf of insurers
  • Work on a case load of high value coverage cases, fraud claims and some subrogated recoveries work
  • Conduct advocacy and mediations and handle negotiations and trials
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for insurer clients
  • Provide supervision to junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor / CILEx with property damage experience
  • Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
